Plant & Soil Nutrition Laboratory (PSNL)

Verdant provides services to plantation partners to accurately evaluate their individual block fertiliser requirements by
ensuring the maximum return on investment from fertiliser and
by providing a balanced fertiliser recommendation.

Services include the full analysis of

  • Plant tissue samples
e.g. oil palm leaf and rachis etc.
  • Oil palm by-products
e.g. compost, empty fruit bunches,
palm oil mill effluent etc.
  • Both chemical and physical soil analyses
  • Fertiliser composition integrity analysis

Verdant’s PSNL provides accurate analytical results monitored daily and weekly through strict internal quality controls, and tested externally via proficiency testing in collaboration with Wageningen University (NL) through the International Plant-analytical Exchange (WEPAL-IPE).

Our laboratories are currently undergoing ISO 17025 2017 Series Certification.
